Happy to report they have dropped the surcharge on credit cards. This has resulted in me coming into this restaurant much more often and tipping a higher percentage. This is probably the nearest thing you'll find to a tiki bar on Oahu. The food is good and the service is excellent. The menu has a wide selection, burgers, seafood, and a good chef salad. It's just a fun place that you want to visit frequently. Plenty of close parking. Whether you're a local or a tourist, you will enjoy. "The Shack".
I've honestly never had a bad meal or time here at the shack. Service is amazing and friendly, beers are cold and the mixed drinks are perfectly poured. We usually stop in for pupu's so I can't speak on the other stuff, but loaded tots, and those buffalo wings with that chunky blue cheese is where it's at. Garden salad is as fresh as can be. Tons of tv's to watch, awesome service, good food, stump trivia, a pool table, darts and a jukebox, makes this place a regular watering hole for us.
Buffalo Wings and the chunkiest blue cheese dressing I've ever had. Easy to converse with friends, music wasn't blaring. Staff was friendly.

Changed it up this time and had the shrimp and chips. Food was great and super hot temp wise. Food was plentiful and good portion size with good prices. Also the only place on the island where I have found 805 beer
